We’re looking for a dynamic chef to work in our restaurant in <location>. He/She must be experienced in <cuisine 1>, <cuisine 2>, and <cuisine 3> while leading a team of <team size>. Chosen candidates will be a key figure in the kitchen, and sometimes work with the events, logistics, and housekeeping team. Chosen candidates will have opportunities to experiment with new cuisines and cooking techniques under the guidance of the <senior position>.
Responsibilities
Ensure high standards of food preparation daily for the restaurant
Lead and manage the culinary team
Ensure kitchen is clean and orderly at all times with a maintenance schedule
Maintain adequate pantry inventory
Prepare shopping lists and track expenses
Reduce wastage, including electricity, water and other resources
Support media activities like interviews, food tasting, etc
Perform ad-hoc duties as requested by the <senior position>
Requirements
Up-to-date with latest culinary food trends
Ability to work creatively within dietary requirements
Solid communication skills
Proficient in <language 1>, <language 2>, and <language 3>
Knowledge in menu planning and food costing
Deliver under pressure
Valid driving licence
Willing to work in <location> and on weekends
